| MARCUS YOUNG was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Iowa. He graduated from Carleton College in music and the University of Minnesota in theater. He makes conceptual and behavioral art which so far has included slow-walking and smiling, wishing and flying kites, drawing very long lines, whispering, dancing in public, writing fortunes for fortune cookies, and dressing up as a museum gallery guard. Marcus believes making good art is making good life. He has been Saint Paul’s Artist-in-Residence since 2006. |
