A special program of Saint Paul Public Works and Public Art Saint Paul that salvaged historic limestone from the 1850’s Wabasha Street Bridge for use by artists to create works in public places.  This work carved in stone by Craig David for the West Side gateway speaks of the people who journeyed here to build this city on the Mississippi River.
