In 2006, 14 artists from throughout Minnesota and 8 foreign countries came to Saint Paul to carve sculptures from large blocks of Minnesota stone.  The 15 artworks created were installed throughout Saint Paul and partner cities of Vadnais Heights and St. Anthony.  A companion education program engaged 3,000 students in Science learning through the arts.  News of the symposium reached a worldwide audience of 18 million.
