Works must be able to withstand an outdoor winter environment for at least 2 years and consider that many children interact with the sculptures.  Aesthetic excellence, durability and safety are primary considerations in making selections.  Artists are paid a $2,000 stipend for loan of their work and Public Art Saint Paul covers costs associated with shipment, installation and liability insurance coverage.
